A field mission to assess projects funded by the Road Fund will take place in Cameroon\u2019s West Region from May 4 to May 17, 2026. Ahead of the mission, the regional governor will chair a coordination meeting in Bafoussam.<\/p>\n

Field monitoring scheduled from May 4 to 17<\/h3>\n

As part of ongoing oversight efforts, a field monitoring mission targeting projects financed by the Road Fund will be conducted across the West Region of Cameroon between May 4 and May 17, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The mission aims to assess the level of implementation of road and urban infrastructure projects executed by local councils and sectoral administrations.<\/p>\n

\n

Preparatory meeting chaired by the governor<\/h3>\n

To set the stage for the field visits, the Governor of the West Region will chair a coordination meeting on Monday, May 4, 2026, at exactly 10 a.m.<\/strong>, in the first-floor meeting hall<\/strong> of the regional offices in Bafoussam.<\/p>\n

The meeting will bring together members of the Road Fund Management Committee<\/strong>, alongside regional delegates and municipal executives overseeing the projects.<\/p>\n

Sector delegates and mayors mobilised<\/h3>\n

Authorities involved have been instructed to make all necessary arrangements to accompany the mission and provide clear and updated reports on the execution status of projects under their responsibility, either as contracting authorities or technical supervisors.<\/p>\n

    The mission will cover projects in the municipalities of Bafang, Bassamba, Bayangam, Bazou, Dschang, Fokou\u00e9, Foumban, Njimom, Nkong-Zem and P\u00e9t\u00e9-Bandjoun<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
