Cameroon’s West region now has a new regional delegate for Elections Cameroon (ELECAM). Saké Zofoa Njoya was officially installed during a ceremony led by the Director General of Elections. The move is seen as key for local electoral governance.

The ceremony took place at ELECAM’s regional office in the West. It was chaired by Erik Essousse, Director General of Elections.
Traditional leaders, political party representatives and other guests attended the event.
Clear priorities set
In his address, Essousse outlined key priorities. He stressed strict human resource management.
He also highlighted the need to improve voter registration. Public awareness campaigns remain crucial ahead of upcoming elections.
